What will happen if I fail to keep up payments on the Protected Trust Deed?

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

It is really important that once you are in a Protected Trust Deed, that monthly payments are made as agreed. If at any point your financial situation changes and the monthly payments are no longer affordable, then you must advise your Trustee to see if your payments can be reduced or perhaps the terms of your Trust Deed extended.

If you don’t keep up payments then your supervisor can initiate sequestration (bankruptcy in Scotland) proceedings against you. Please call DebtFC for advice on 0800 007 5307 or email at info@debtfc.co.uk DebtFC offering free debt advice and help, based in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland, UK

No Fee Protected Trust Deed – West Lothian

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

When I first heard about the amount of debt that could be written off with a Scottish Protected Trust Deed, I thought that can’t be right. But after contacting DebtFC they explained that it is government legislation that enables you to write off as much as 90% of your unsecured debt.

They arranged for my payments to be reduced to an affordable £125 per month over a period of 36 months, writing off £31,000 of credit cards and loans and with full agreement of my creditors I am now looking forward to a debt free future.

DebtFC do not unlike many of our competitors charge up front fees or charges. We are an independent Debt Solution Company. We work for you and not your creditors
